Exercise following normal vaginal delivery and cesarian section.



It has been a confusing question for a woman concerning exercise after delivery
The purpose for the same use to be weight loss and fitness.When to start exercising,which type of exercise to be done,what precautions need to be taken after caeserian section,etc are used to be frequently asked questions in discussion and peer reviews. Moreover issue of getting time out of the busy schedule with baby is also a big concern for women after delivery.
Well,truly the exercise need to be started from day one. One may think why day one? ....Day one exercises are light exercises for eg. movement of ankle and foot to prevent clotting in blood vessels.
One can start exercising with lighter exercise within first week post delivery . Extra precaution is needed for women having problems during pregnancy for eg. hypertensoion, diabetes, back pain, constipation, urine incontinence (leakkage of urine) or problems during delivery .. eg. execessive bleedingg, raised blood pressure, ceaserian section etc.
Stretching exercises done properly can help u regain fitness . Walking is best exercise for general health and well being.
Specific exercise to strengthen your belly muscle and back muscle help you to regain body shape. Pelvic floor exercise is must for recovery of stretched muscles during normal vaginal delivery or to maintain continence after all deliveries be it CS or NVD
